I always liked Steve Irwin. He seemed to be a genuinely good person, teacher, naturalist, and humanitarian, he did a lot to represent those who cannot represent themselves, his beloved animals. He was one of those larger than life personalities that you cannot replace ...

We extend our thoughts and prayers to Steve's wife Terri, daughter Bindi and son Bob Irwin, and to Steve's Dad Bob as well as to all the members of his staff at the zoo, and to the many friends Steve leaves behind in his passing from this life to the next.

May God Bless and Comfort Steve Irwin's family and friends. Love knows no boundries ... he loved his family dearly, and was just as passionate about his work. He will be greatly missed by everyone who's heart he has touched, those who have welcomed him into their homes via the television, and by all who have come to understand him throughout his work. We pray his family will be comforted in their loss knowing Steve was doing something that he loved.

Sincerely,
Donald & Violet Hart Family U.S.A.

I wept at hearing Steve Irwin's death on monday. I was shocked as it was so sudden and tragic, Steve Irwin has been my hero for 10 years since I first watched his show in 1996 when I was 6 years old. I truly am devastated by his death and my sympathies really go out to his family and friends. He was an amazing person and did so many great things, he truly was a hero.
