My First Assassination Threat

Posted by Michael Bloch in online world (Saturday July 7, 2012 )

You come across all kinds in this crazy online world and some days it seems every psycho on the planet has my email address. I’ve been threatened in all sorts of ways, but this personal warning from a professional assassin is a first.

The warning went like this:

YOU HAVE BEEN BETRAYED. SOME ONE YOU KNOW WANTS YOU DEAD. I HAVE BEEN PAID tHIS IS THE ONE i GOT TO KILL YOU, AND WILL GO FOR MY MOTIONS UNLESS YOU ARE PREPARED TO ASSIST ME.

I KNOW YOU ARE INNOCENT, OF WHICH YOU ACCUSE, SO CAN HELP YOU DISAPPEAR AND STOP THE BOYS COMING FOR YOU. I WISH YOU TO KNOW I WAS PAID TO KILL YOU IN A MOST PAINFUL AND UNHAPPY WAY. I WAS PAID TO KILL YOU BY A SHOT FROM MY SNIPER WHICH IS UNTRACEABLE.

I HAVE KILLED MANY IN THIS WAY BEFORE AND WILL CONTINUE AS I AM KNOWN AS THE BEST SNIPER SHOT KILLER.

REPLY TO ME IF YOU WISH TO LIVE.YAHOO

Best sniper shot killer he may be, but his English and sales pitch needs some work.

I haven’t got a lot of cash, so maybe he’ll accept what little I have and he’ll kill me in a painless and happy way. I’d hate to be killed in an unhappy way. That just won’t do.

Of course, this is a scam. The idea is the target will be shivering in fear, contact the person (who isn’t an assassin of course) and pay them X amount to not carry out the act.

This isn’t a new scam, it’s been around for a while. The problem is not all such threats are so poorly worded, some could be quite convincing. If the recipient is a little on the paranoid side; it could result a very bad response and where a person has certain mental illnesses, possibly even trigger a psychotic episode that could end tragically.

Parties that engage in these sorts of scams really are the scum of the earth.
