Ad blocking litigation soon?

A few days back I wrote about the potential threat to publisher revenues through ad blocking applications, particularly since the launch of a highly effective application for Firefox that’s getting a lot of coverage and consequently downloads. Firefox ad blocker stirs the pot

Ick. A plugin for Firefox rapidly gaining popularity seems to be quite efficient at blocking ads on sites; particularly those generated by third party ad networks . That’s not good for those of us on either end of the spectrum who depend on advertising – merchants and publishers alike. (more…)
